Project Case Study -– XCMG Project in Brazil
Project Overview:
Phase I of the XCMG Plant Project in Brazil consisted of four buildings:
Preparation workshop (12,600 m2)
Complex building for structural members (47,000 m2)
Complex building for assembly (53,000 m2)
Coating workshop for complete machines (7,400 m2)
Total Building Floor Area : 120,000 m2
Gross tonnage: Main Frames: 5,350 tons ，Cladding: 2,400 tons
In this project, Butler® was able to leverage its’ global manufacturing footprint by utilizing 3 plants in Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangzhou through which building systems were delivered timely.
On the morning of May 20th, 2015 Premier of the State Council Li Keqiang spoke highly of the Brazil XCMG Project at the China Equipment Manufacturing Industry Exhibition, and acknowledged the significant impact of the Project for Brazil. On May 22nd, the Chairman of the Gree Group, Dong Mingzhu, visited the XCMG manufacturing base in Brazil and was impressed by the work and the first-class advanced equipment at the plant.
