This year, BlueScope’s COLORBOND® steel brand celebrates its 50th anniversary in our Australian and ASEAN markets. For fifty years COLORBOND® steel has been at the forefront of building design trends. As we continue to innovate with industry leading technologies, COLORBOND® steel has earned its position as one of the world’s toughest, most advanced building materials. 

To celebrate the COLORBOND® steel anniversary, our Australian business has planned a calendar ofspecial “thank you” events in ‘50 days of COLORBOND® steel’. These events aim to engage and thank direct and indirect channel customers, end consumers, and especially you, our employees. Without your continued commitment to COLORBOND® steel and to BlueScope, we wouldn’t be celebrating this significant milestone for our company. 

In Australia, the 50th celebrations will be launched with a creative new television commercial which shows the amazing ways COLORBOND® steel can be usedin all types of beautiful buildings; from large commercial buildings to the outback pub, and the family home.

BlueScope is the global leader in premium branded coated and painted steel products, and our strategic focus is to drive growth across our footprint.  Nothing demonstrates this better, and makes us more proud as a company, than the growth and innovation of COLORBOND® steel in the last fifty years.
